Privacy Policy

The Privacy Policy below forms an integral part of our Terms and Conditions.

1. Identification

This website is owned, maintained, and operated by PRESC VIAGENS E TURISMO LTDA from AV DAS AMÉRICAS 3434, BUILDING 5, FLOOR 5, registered under CNPJ/MF 04.138.584/0001-17, exempt from State Registration.

2. Contact – CALL CENTER

If the User needs any information, clarification, or assistance in relation to this Privacy Policy, Eventos set up a CALL CENTER to receive all communications from Users.

The CALL CENTER operates through the below communication channels:

  • (a) Electronically, via email at contato@eventos.com.br, during business hours.

3. General information

Eventos takes all the necessary measures to protect the User's privacy, in compliance with the effective legislation. This document details the way personal data is collected, stored, used, shared, and disclosed, as well as clearly indicates the measures taken to ensure the protection of the collected data.

4. Collecting, use and storage of data

Access Account

To create an Access Account on the Site, the User must complete a registration form, which may vary depending on their purpose when using the Site, from expressing interest in participating in a future event published on the site in the section “Quero Invadir" to making a full registration for purchasing a product via ecommerce.

Thus, a simple registration including an email address will be required to send advertising and promotional messages to the User about products, services, promotions and/or event news.

And, to make purchases, the User will be required to create a complete Access Account, providing full name, email address, telephone number, CPF, and complete address (state, city, district, street, number, additional street information).

The data provided by Users will be stored and used by Eventos itself or by third parties contracted by Eventos, to provide the products on the Site, carry out commercial transactions, process payments related to them, share data, send emails of deals, products, services and marketing campaigns, store the history of products viewed, promote retargeting campaigns, customize pages on the Site, verify bank details to prevent fraud and carry out deliveries and returns.

The data may be shared with third parties contracted by Eventos under the rules of this Privacy Policy in order to complete purchases, while emphasizing that the creation of each Access Account or any registration on the Site, for which it is necessary to send any personal data of the User, presumes express consent regarding the collection/use/storage/processing of data (including by contracted third parties), which may even be individualized for statistical purposes.

The User is responsible, in the civil and criminal spheres, for the veracity and for updating the data provided (including personal data) and Eventos exempts itself from any liability for damages arising from incomplete, imprecise or inaccurate information submitted during registration by the User, under any means or form, or, yet, by the improper use of this registration by any third party not authorized to use such data or, still, by third parties that have, duly or improperly, obtained the User's data to access the Site, acting as if they were them.

Cookies

To guarantee the best browsing and shopping experience to the User, Eventos uses technologies to collect and store information related to the User's visits on the Site and this may include sending one or more cookies or anonymous identifiers that collect data relating to browsing preferences and the pages visited by the User.

In this way, the appearance of the Site is personalized and aligned with the User's personal interests. The use of this data is restricted to the indicated purpose and Eventos undertakes to not using nor allowing the use of such data for any other purpose. In addition, the collection, storage, and processing of this data is completely automated, with no human contact with it.

The User can and may, at any time, if they disagree with the Cookies Policy above, set their browser tools to prevent the installation of cookies and delete any existing cookies on their device. In this case, some functionalities of the Site may present errors. Eventos may also use other technologies to collect navigation data from Users, committing to save, treat and use them in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Access records

Eventos will store in its database all the information related to the User's access to the Site, including, but not limited to the IP address, pages accessed, times and dates of access, and device used, under the terms of the effective legislation. Such records may be used in internal or public investigations to examine practices that may cause any damage to Eventos, including the commission of virtual crimes.

Other data

Eventos may collect personal data from the User, other than those identified here, that are entered voluntarily by the User and about the User in the process of browsing the Site or when contacting the CALL CENTER, as well as through a Satisfaction Survey.

Finally, Eventos will access public or private databases to confirm the veracity of the personal data informed by the User, including data related to the payment of the purchase.

Use of collected data:

Email address

Eventos will use the User's email address primarily to send information about their Purchases (purchase confirmation and status updates). The registered email will also be used for communications related to events that the client showed interest in and in the recovery process of the User’s lost or forgotten access password.

Advertising via direct mail, email, MMS or SMS

When registering their contact details, the User expressly agrees to accept or prohibit the receiving of advertising messages. In addition, at any time, the User may change their decision, by contacting the CALL CENTER or by accessing the Unsubscribe link in the newsletters sent by Eventos. In both cases, unsubscribing from the database may take up to 5 (five) days to come into effect.

Other uses

In addition to the forms detailed above, Eventos may, at its sole discretion, use the User's personal data as follows:

  • (i) for registration updates;
  • (ii) to guarantee User security;
  • (iii) in response to the User's own requests;
  • (iv) for information about changes to the Terms and Conditions or the Privacy Policy;
  • (v) for preparation of statistics regarding the use of the Site, guaranteeing User anonymity, including for the purpose of improving and understanding the Users' profile for Site development;
  • (vi) for improvement of interactivity tools between the Site and the User, guaranteeing their anonymity;
  • (vii) in compliance with court orders; and
  • (viii) in defense of the rights of Eventos against the User in judicial or administrative proceedings.

Data Storage

The Eventos will keep all data collected in its protected and secure databases.

Such data will only be accessed by automated computerized processes, authorized professionals and in the cases listed in this Policy.

If the User requests the deletion of their data from the database, Eventos reserves the right to keep the data in question in backup copies for up to 5 (five) years, to comply with legal obligations of mandatory storage.

5. Sharing and Disclosure of Data

Eventos sets the confidentiality of the User's personal data as a priority in its business. Thus, it undertakes not to disclose, share, give or facilitate access to, rent, sell, exchange or, in any other way, make such information available to third parties, under any pretext, except in cases expressly authorized by the User, including in cases indicated below. With the sole purpose of allowing the completion of Purchases on the Site, Eventos may share Users' personal data with its commercial partners, such as payment processing companies, credit card administrators and carriers.

In this case, only essential personal data will be shared with the commercial partner to carry out its activity (billing, delivery, etc.). In addition, such commercial partners will be obliged, through confidentiality agreements, not to file, keep on file, compile, copy, reproduce or share such data with anyone. The other possibility of disclosure of personal data is through a court order. Also in this case, the disclosure will only occur to the extent necessary to comply with the court order, remaining confidential the data not required by the authority in question.

6. Unsolicited data

Eventos requests the User to not send to Eventos any commercial information, personal creations, ideas, photographs, projects, concepts, etc. (Unsolicited Content). Such Unsolicited Content will be discarded, without any reading or inclusion into the Eventos databases. Under the terms of the Copyright Law, ideas, abstract concepts, projects, plans, and schemes are not subject to protection in Brazil.

In this way, the eventual use by Eventos of any Unsolicited Content will be the result of internal and independent development and may occur freely, with no authorization or compensation being due to or required from the user or consumer.

Eventos independently develops all its policies and activities, rejecting any accusation or allegation of exploitation of Unsolicited Content.

7. Security measures

Technological resources

Eventos employs advanced technological resources to ensure the security of all collected and stored personal data. Not even Eventos employees have access to the Users' database, which is limited only to those whose functions require contact with personal data. Among the security measures implemented are the use of modern forms of encryption and the installation of barriers against improper access to the database, as well as the use of an anti-fraud system compatible with the e-commerce market. Such measures can be verified by the User accessing the Site by checking the “security lock” in their internet browser.

Password secrecy

Eventos recommends that the User keep their password completely confidential, avoiding disclosure to third parties. Eventos will never ask the User to inform their password outside the Site, by phone, by email or by any other means of communication. The User's password must be used exclusively when accessing the User's Account on the Site. If the User suspects that their password has been exposed to third parties, Eventos recommends its immediate change through formal contact with the CALL CENTER in one of the above-mentioned channels.

Suspicious emails

Eventos only sends the User emails with advertising messages, disclosing products and services, or updating information. Eventos does not send messages:

  • (i) requesting personal data from the User;
  • (ii) requesting the User password or financial data;
  • (iii) with any kind of attached files except PDF-format documents; or
  • (iv) with links to download files. If you receive an e-mail with such characteristics, disregard it and contact our CALL CENTER.

Credit cards

The payment approval procedure takes place between the User, the banks, and the card issuers, without any intervention from Eventos.

Impossibility of liability

Despite Eventos best efforts, the current state of technology does not allow the creation of a completely secure database against attacks.

In this way, Eventos exempts itself from any responsibility for eventual damages caused by third parties, including Site or database invasions, by virus or information leakage, unless the exclusive fault of Eventos is proven.

8. Rights over the collected data

Eventos allows the User to make different types of registration, containing information as per the purpose of registration on the Site. Thus, the User has the possibility to choose the form of registration, being required to fill it in with truthful and updated information.

The User declares to be the legitimate holder of their personal data and may, at any time, use the above-mentioned contact tools to edit, update or remove it from our database.

Eventos will keep the removed data confidential for a period of six months, to comply with legal obligations of mandatory custody, discarding them definitively after such period.

Eventos also provides tools for the User to determine some uses of their personal data, such as authorization to send advertising pieces.

9. Use of data in case of change of control of Eventos

The data collected may eventually be transferred to a third party in the event of a change in control, an acquisition, an incorporation, a merger, or a sale of assets of Eventos in any way or form.

10. Minors data policy

The Site is not directed to minors under 18 (eighteen) years of age. However, access to the Site is not prohibited for minors, as there is no age-restricted content. The forms and questionnaires on the Eventos Site are not intended to obtain data from minors.

If such data is entered by minors, their legal representative may contact the CALL CENTER to rectify, modify or remove such data.
